Full Module Replacement vs. Targeted Rocker Repair
Why replace an entire electronic door switch assembly when only the mechanical rocker pivot tab broke?
Complete Door Cluster Replacement
- Integrated Electronics Cost: Factory clusters are supplied as complete assemblies with internal circuit boards and wiring.
- 1–2 Hours Door Teardown: Standard replacement procedure requires removing the interior door panel, clips, and vapor barrier.
- Susceptible to Recurring CVI Failure: Because brand-new replacement clusters retain the original molded plastic pivot post, fleets often see them snap again between routine 6-month Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVI).
- Electronic Waste: Discards a perfectly functioning electronic circuit board solely because an external plastic toggle failed.
The RockerKit™ Targeted Solution
- Continuous 304 Stainless Axle: Spreads mechanical toggle loads across all 4 polycarbonate posts, eliminating the single plastic pivot failure point permanently for CVI compliance.
- Installs in Under 5 Minutes: Snaps directly into the existing module from inside the cab—zero door panel removal and zero wiring disturbance.
- Preserves Original Electronics: Keeps the factory OEM switch electronics intact while replacing only the vulnerable physical toggle assembly.
- Volume Fleet & Shop Pricing: Economical 5-packs and 10-packs allow maintenance shops to repair window issues immediately on the spot.

01
Inspect & Clear Remnants
Using pliers, pull away any remnants of the broken OEM rockers. Ensure the four push tabs and central clear supports are intact.
02
Align & Click into Place
Align the white actuator sliders of the pre-assembled repair assembly with the guide slots. Press straight down firmly until it clicks into place.
03
Remove Packaging Band
Snip off the retention band. Test both rocker toggles. Both windows are now fully operational on an unbreakable 304 continuous stainless steel axle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about vehicle fitment, installation, OEM part numbers, and shipping.
Yes. RockerKit is engineered specifically for the entire Navistar 4061965C door control pod family across all factory revision supersessions: 4061965C1, 4061965C2, 4061965C3, 4061965C4, 4061965C5, 4061965C6, and 4061965C7.
While Navistar incremented the part revision number from C1 through C7, the core door pod housing and the fragile plastic pivot points remained unchanged. RockerKit fits all seven revisions without requiring a $500+ door pod replacement.
Due to rapidly shifting international trade tariffs and cross-border customs regulations, we currently do not offer direct sales and shipping outside of Canada through our standard checkout.
For our US fleet neighbors: If you have Canadian terminals, operating branches, or a Canadian freight-forwarding partner willing to accept and redirect your order, we are more than happy to fulfill your purchase! Simply provide your Canadian delivery address at checkout. If you need special cross-border fleet accommodations, please email us directly at info@fusediagnostic.ca.
While a single rocker paddle can physically push into one side of the driver door housing, we strongly recommend against it for three critical reasons:
- Structural Security: The Driver Side Dual Unit is engineered as a unified cradle that bridges and anchors across both switch bays for maximum retention. A single paddle on the driver side lacks this interlocking dual-bay stability.
- Ergonomic Mismatch: The RockerKit heavy-duty paddle sits at a slightly different height and profile compared to the OEM factory plastic rocker. Having one OEM paddle and one RockerKit paddle side-by-side feels uneven and awkward to operate.
- Imminent Adjacent Failure: From extensive field diagnostic experience, when one OEM plastic rocker fails from fatigue, the adjacent rocker has undergone the same operational stress and is usually soon to fail. Installing the dual unit permanently resolves both switches at once.
No door teardown is required. The entire installation takes approximately 5 minutes from inside the cab. You simply clear out broken OEM plastic fragments and drop the pre-assembled RockerKit unit directly into the door pod over the factory actuators. No door panel clips to break, and no wiring harnesses to disconnect.
Factory Navistar switches rely on thin injection-molded plastic pivot nubs that easily shear off under daily thumb pressure and temperature extremes. RockerKit eliminates plastic pivots entirely, using a continuous 304 stainless steel through-axle housed in high-impact industrial polycarbonate. The stainless steel axle cannot shear, crack, or bend.
